Hello, San Francisco (and other, lesser cities), today is a glorious day. “Glorious” may be embellishing things, it’s a good day (O’Shea). On July 30, 2010 I launched Courting Comedy as detailed in LAST year’s post. I was much more ernest and verbose before my accident so please read that instead of this. If you’re still reading this, how dare you disrespect my wishes, but, also, thank you for your continued interest into my obsession. I’m in love with comedy, and this website is an expression of unrequited joy. Special thanks to David Cairns for saving Courting Comedy. Thanks to the comedy community at large for contributing to projects like Infantile and Jabari B(ooks) Davis. Thanks to the near 500 who are subscribed via Tumblr (of which I’m only missing two to be officially happy). And lastly, thank you to everybody who says thank you. Our codependency is as charming and necessary as it is delirious and unhealthy.
